In the 1960's Twiggy became a pop icon with her stick like figure and large doe eyes. She appeared on the cover of every major fashion magazine and, with perceptive management, became the Mod look of the swinging 60's. She later went on to an acting career, starring in Ken Russel's film The Boy Friend. She also appeared on Broadway in My One and Only.
